Chart of the Day: CapitaGreen shows strongest rental reversion in Q1

This comes as office REITs reported healthy occupancies in Q1.

This chart from Maybank shows CapitaGreen with the strongest rental reversion as its committed rents ranged from $11.00-12.20 psf in Q1 as compared to average expiring rents of $9.41 psf.

This is comes as office REITs reported healthy occupancies and positive double-digit rental reversions in Q1, despite market rents falling marginally after ten quarters of growth. Capital Tower shows the least percentage of expiring leases with 0.4%. CapitaLand Commercial Trust also recorded signing rents 323% higher than its expiring rents over the same period.

Rental reversions are expected to stay positive into 2020 given the low expiring rents in FY2020-2022
