Equation Corp names Kan Ah Chye as Remuneration Committee Chairman

He will also become a Member of Audit and Nominating Committees and an Independent Director.

The Nominating Committee has recommended the appointment of Mr Kan Ah Chye as an Independent Director of the Company and the Board of Directors has approved his appointment based on his qualifications and work experience.

Mr Kan, 66, will be an Independent Director, Chairman of Remuneration Committee, Member of Audit and Nominating Committees.

In the past, he was Senior Manager, Private Banking and Head, Corporate Banking of HL Bank (2009-2011). He was also the Head of Special Assets Management and a Member of Branch Management Committee, Loans Committee Bangkok Bank Public Co Ltd (Singapore Branch) (2002-2007).
