Dr. Victor Nian
Dr. Victor Nian is committed to developing independent research and analysis that help governments and businesses make the right investments in energy transition, decarbonisation and sustainable development, digital transformation, and clean energy and technology ecosystem development.
As the Founding Co-Chairman of the Centre for Strategic Energy and Resources (CSER), an independent Asian think-and-do tank committed to "knowledge and innovation without borders," Dr. Nian is on a mission to build enabling ecosystems for accelerating energy transition in Asia through public-private partnership.
Dr. Nian is recognised for his expertise in energy systems analysis and scenario planning, nuclear energy, hydrogen, net-zero carbon strategies, and sustainability governance. He advises both public and private organisations on critical areas such as energy, industrial and sustainability policy, international technology partnership, supply chain management, digital transformation, and geopolitical issues. His academic background includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Management of Technology from the National University of Singapore.
