Chart of the Day: Electronics boost overall manufacturing growth by 13.4%

Whilst biomed dragged output down by 5.3%.

Singapore's Industrial Production for the month of April was heavily reliant to electronics sector, which contributed 13.4% to the overall 6.7% increase in outputs.

Precision engineering segment also contributed positively at 2.1%.

However, biomed segment dragged the outputs down by 5.3% after it reported a slight uptick in the previous month.

Transport engineering and general manufacturing sectors continued their negative contributions at 2.1 and 1.4%, respectively.
