Services receipts rise 3.6% YoY in Q4 2025
Quarterly growth comes in at 3.3%.
Business receipts of Singapore’s services industries rose 3.6% year-on-year (YoY) in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2025, excluding wholesale trade, retail trade, accommodation, and food services, according to the Department of Statistics.
All industries, except for Transportation & Storage and Administrative & Support Services, registered higher receipts on a YoY basis.
Quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) growth came in at 3.3% on a non-seasonally adjusted basis. All industries registered higher receipts except education, health and social services.
Recreation and personal services reported 9.2% YoY growth in revenue, primarily driven by the arts, entertainment, and recreation segment, including gaming.
Professional services rose 6.1% increase in turnover, largely due to higher revenue from advertising and market research as well as research and development activities.
On a QoQ basis, professional services increased 9.1% due to higher business receipts reported by head offices and management consultancies, whilst real estate rose 3.6%, with all key segments such as real estate management and agencies registering high turnover.
Education fell 4.6% from the previous quarter, mainly due to a decline in receipts reported by universities from tuition fees received in the third quarter of 2025.
