Singapore ranks 11th in Top 100 City Destinations for 2023

It is the top city destination in Southeast Asia.

Singapore secured the 11th spot in Euromonitor International’s Top 100 City Destinations for 2023, ranking first amongst Southeast Asian cities.

According to Euromonitor, the ranking is based on 55 metrics across six key pillars that determine the overall city attractiveness score. These pillars include economic and business performance, tourism performance, tourism infrastructure, tourism policy and attractiveness, health and safety and sustainability.

Singapore is the best performer in Southeast Asia due to its exemplary performance in tourism policy and attractiveness and health and safety pillars.

Asian markets “saw strong representation” in the Top 20 with Tokyo (4th), Seoul (14th), Osaka (16th), and Hong Kong (17th), making it to the list.

The strong rebound following the pandemic and the reopening of the Greater China region contributed to the substantial influx of tourists in the leading Asian cities.

The Top Three cities were Paris, Dubai and Madrid.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
