Mermaid Maritime Public appoints Nathan Williams as Group Operations Director
Mr Williams is seen to contribute to the Company’s strategy of streamlining and enhancing the operations with his extensive experience in the offshore oil and gas industry.
The Board of Mermaid Maritime Public announced the appointment of Nathan Williams as Group Operations Director. The Nomination Committee of the Board, after evaluating Mr. Williams' qualifications and extensive working experience in the offshore oil and gas industry in both operations and project based roles, considered that his appointment will contribute to the Company’s strategy of streamlining and enhancing the operations of its business units across various regions and hence the growth and performance of the Company as a whole.
Mr. Williams, 35, is responsible to manage and oversee the operations of the subsea and drilling business units of the Company including providing leadership and direction to ensure that the activities and focus of the operations teams offshore and onshore are effectively managed and co-ordinated, according to a Mermaid Maritime Public report.
In the past he worked as Operations Manager of Oceanic Marine Contractors in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 2010 to 2012. Prior to this he was Construction Manager of J Ray McDermott Dubai, United Arab Emirates 2008 from 2010 and Senior Fabrication Operations Engineer in J Ray McDermott Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 2007 to 2008.
