Transaction failed? Not anymore as OCBC restores its Singapore network

After having some glitches with its ATM and internet banking services, OCBC managed to restore their system as of 1:15PM today.

According to a Reuters report, OCBC had a technical problem which affected their system in all branches island-wide. This included the bank’s ATM network, internet and mobile banking channels.

"We have restored all our banking services as of 1.15 pm today. With immediate effect, our customers are able to carry out all banking transactions at our branches, ATMs, internet and mobile banking platforms," OCBC said in a statement.

The bank also assured the customers that their data were protected throughout the four-hour disruption, according to the report.
