Trust Bank’s 7,000-stock launch slashes US trading fee barriers
The fractional trading launch features no platform or custody fees through 30 June.
Trust Bank has launched fractional trading of US stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) through its Trust App, providing access to over 7,000 US-listed stocks and ETFs via a partnership with Saxo Singapore.
The bank is the first in Singapore to offer fractional trading through a banking app, allowing investors to buy portions of US shares starting from $12.84 (US$10), according to a press release.
In line with this, users will be able to invest in high-priced stocks, such as Tesla and Meta, without purchasing a full share.
Customers who make a first trade of at least 1,283.70 (US$1,000) by 31 March can receive free fractional stock worth up to $641.85 (US$500), credited to their portfolio via a digital scratch card once the market opens.
Trust Bank’s trading service does not charge custody, platform, or settlement fees. Zero commission on trades is available until 30 June.
