PM Lee to deliver address on COVID-19 situation

The speech will be broadcastt live via the PM’s Facebook page.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will address Singapore at 5:00 PM today to provide updates regarding the country’s COVID-19 situation as well as the outlook for next year, as announced on the PM’s Facebook page on December 13.

The speech will be broadcast live through the PM’s Facebook page. It will be followed by a press conference with the co-chairs of the Ministerial Task Force, Lee said in the Facebook post.

“But please stay calm – no need to stock up on anything!" the announcement concluded.

As of December 13, Singapore has reported a total of 58,320 COVID-19 cases, with seven imported ones added that day. The country has logged fewer than 20 new COVID-19 cases since 21 October.
