Ultrafiltration technology to be featured in Singapore International Water Week
BASF is presenting its water treatment and water security management in SIWW 2 July to 4 July.
In a release by BASF Asia Pacific, the company is strengthening its offering for drinking water treatment, industrial water treatment, waste water treatment and ultrafiltration solutions in the Asia Pacific region.
BASF will present its innovative and sustainable water treatment solutions at their booth under the theme “water loves solutions” at the Singapore International Water Week from July 2-4, 2012. The main focus will be ultrafiltration technology, which is an area BASF has further enhanced its expertise since the acquisition of inge GmbH.
"With the growing demand for sustainable water solutions to citizens in Singapore, the Singapore government has undertaken a series of initiatives to improve water and waste water management, in order to provide long-term water security to the country. “Access to clean water is among the major challenges facing mankind. With our expertise and innovative chemical solutions, BASF wants to close the water supply gap and be a leading provider of chemical solutions to increase water recyclability, reusability, water preservation and drinking water source.” said Magali Simon, Regional Head of BASF Water Solutions Asia Pacific. “The acquisition of inge GmbH in 2011 further strengthens BASF’s position in the rapid growing water treatment market while broadening our technology base.”
