Asiamedic appoints Dr Wong Weng Hong as CEO

He will be responsible for executing strategies and policies outlined by the board.

The Board of Asiamedic announced the appointment of Dr Wong Weng Hong as Chief Executive Officer. The Board has reviewed the qualifications and experience of Dr Wong Weng Hong and found him a suitable candidate for the position.

Dr Wong Weng Hong will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer reporting to the Board of Directors. He will be responsible for carrying out the strategies and policies as established by the Board and for the overall management, development and financial performance of the Company and its subsidiaries, according to an Asiamedic report .

In the past Dr. Wong, 48, was Managing Director of Healthway Medical Corporation Ltd from 2007 to 2010. Before this he was Chief Executive Officer of Healthway Medical Group Pte Ltd from 2003 to 2007 and Medical Director of Healthway Medical Group Pte Ltd from 1994 to 2003.
