Changi Airport crowned as best airport for stopovers

The airport also ranked first in food and retail service satisfaction.

Changi Airport was named the best airport for a layover in a report by Betway, an online gambling company.

The criteria took note of the availability of shops, food and beverage options, and hotels within two-mile proximity.

The list also considered passenger ratings for their facilities, such as lounges, Wifi, and food and retail services.

Aside from its indoor garden and waterfall, the airport has 240 retail shops and 200 food and beverage stores. It also has an 85% lounge satisfaction rating and an 88% Wifi satisfaction rating.

Betway also ranked Changi Airport as one of the airports in the world for foodies and retail lovers, alongside South Korea's Incheon International Airport. Both have a food and retail service satisfaction score of 90%.
