Global HR body WFPMA appoints first Singaporean leader
SHRI President Peck Kem Low will lead the development and implementation of the Federation’s operational plans.
The Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI) announced that its President, Peck Kem Low, has become the first Singaporean to be appointed as President of the World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA).
“I hope my contributions in the next two years will place Singapore firmly on the world map as a champion of inclusive, progressive, and human-centric people practices,” Low said in a personal note on LinkedIn.
As WFPMA President, Low will lead the development and implementation of the Federation’s operational plans.
Her responsibilities include strengthening the global HR profession, facilitating research, and promoting the adoption of international HR standards.
Low is the second woman in WFPMA’s history to hold this position.
