Singaporeans are world's 6th best English speakers

It beats 19 countries in Asia.

The 6th edition of EF English Proficiency Index (EPI) has placed Singapore on the 6th spot overall.

The report ranks 72 countries and territories based on test data from more than 950,000 adults who took EF's online English tests in 2015.

Singapore scored 63.52 while the top ranking Netherlands gained 72.16.

Netherlands is followed by Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland.

In Asian rankings, Singapore is followed by Malaysia, Philippines, India, South Korea, and Hong Kong.
