AVPN launches new platform to streamline philanthropy in Asia
It offers a curated pool of over 400 verified impact organisations.
AVPN has launched ImpactCollab, a new platform to help funders, wealth advisors, and grantmakers in Asia easily identify and support credible social impact organisations.
Supported by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, ImpactCollab empowers AVPN members, wealth advisors, and grantmakers to identify, assess, and engage with a curated pool of over 400 verified impact organisations.
The platform aims to bring transparency, accountability, and confidence to the region’s rapidly growing philanthropy ecosystem.
A key feature of the platform is the Governance Maturity Framework, developed jointly with the Lien Centre for Social Innovation at Singapore Management University (SMU).
The framework assesses organisations on leadership, codes of conduct, transparency, and accountability.
Each organisation is also screened against LSEG’s World-Check database to ensure added due diligence.
Asia is expected to have over 230,000 ultra-high-net-worth individuals by 2027. Singapore alone manages over US$1.2 trillion in private wealth. Yet much of this capital has not been directed toward philanthropy, due to high due diligence costs, limited access to credible organisations, and the complexity of cross-border giving.
The platform also helps social organisations showcase their work using standardised impact metrics, improving fundraising efficiency and increasing visibility among potential funders.
Next, AVPN will expand ImpactCollab to include an Outcomes Marketplace—developed with Tri-Sector Associates—which will allow funders to purchase verified social outcomes through standardised contracts and third-party validation, accelerating cross-border giving and outcomes-based funding.
