DBS’ Tan Su Shan tops Fortune’s most powerful women in Asia list
Executives from Temasek, ExxonMobil, Dow, and others also made the cut.
DBS Chief Executive Tan Su Shan, who assumed leadership of the bank earlier this year, has claimed the top spot on Fortune’s list of the Most Powerful Women in Asia.
Singapore continues to stand out in the region, with several prominent executives securing spots on the prestigious ranking.
Amongst them are Png Chin Yee (Temasek, No. 17), Jenny Lee (Granite Asia, No. 30), Geraldine Chin (Exxon Mobil Asia Pacific, No. 43), Puay Koon Chia (Dow, No. 45), Kawal Preet (FedEx, No. 46), Belinda Tanoto (RGE, No. 51), Adeline Sum (NTUC Enterprise, No. 68), Nicole Tan (Shiseido, No. 71), and Michelle Cheo Hui Ning (Mewah International, No. 87).
Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau dominate this year’s MPW Asia list with 34 executives, whilst India and Thailand each count eight. Around 40 newcomers also made the cut.
