Fu Yu appoints new non-executive director at AGM

This followed a resolution tabled under a requisition by Lim Wei De, Victor.

Fu Yu Corporation appointed Gilbert Rodrigues as a new non-executive director at its latest annual general meeting, which was held on 27 June.

This followed a resolution tabled under a requisition by Lim Wei De, Victor, under Section 183 of the Companies Act 1967.

Fu Yu had appointed Asian Corporate Advisors (ACA) to assess the director’s suitability and independence.

The company announced that ACA had found nothing that would make the directors unsuitable for the appointment.
