Yeo Hiap Seng’s net profit falls by 50% YoY to $1.6m in H1

Group revenue declines by 10.1% to $148.6m in the same period.

Yeo Hiap Seng Limited reported a net profit of $1.6m in the first half of 2025 (H1 2025), 50% lower compared to the $3.2m recorded in the same period last year.

Group revenue for H1 2025 decreased by 10.1% to $148.6m from $165.3m the previous year.

In their bourse filing, the group reported Core Yeo’s F&B sales fell by 7.6% to $140.5m, mainly due to earlier Chinese New Year shipment recognised in the prior calendar year and lower Hari Raya sales due to subdued consumer demand.

The absence of Oatly co-packing revenue of $5.6m also contributed to the decline.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
