Chart of the day: Check out which estates saw the highest resale transactions in Q1

All locations saw more than a hundred transactions in Q1.

This chart from Orange Tee & Tie showed that Bishan saw the highest growth in HDB resale transactions in Q1 after surging 47.9% YoY to 105 in Q1 from 71 in the same period in 2018.

This was followed by Clementi where transactions surged at 44.4% YoY to 130 transactions from 90, Bukit Merah 23.6% YoY with 199 transactions from 161, and Pasir Ris at 17.4% YoY with 128 transactions from 109.

Some towns like Queenstown and Bukit Merah saw price increases across the three, four and five-room standard flats. Prices of five-room flats in Serangoon had also risen the most at 13.3% in Q1. However, prices dipped across the three, four and five-room flats in Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Clementi and Marine Parade.
