Chart of the Day: Resale condo prices rose 0.2% in April

The 1.4% price growth in the central region countered the decline in the non-central region.

This chart from the National University of Singapore showed that resale condo prices grew 0.2% in April after remaining flat in March.

The price hike was mainly driven by the 1.4% price increase in the central region, as compared to the 0.1% recorded in the prior month.

However, this was countered by price declines in the non-central region and units measured 506 sqft or below to 0.6% and 0.4% respectively. Prices in the non-central region further contracted from the 0.1% decline it showed in March.

The central region sub-basket comprises properties within the overall SRPI basket located in Postal Districts 1 through 4 and 9 through 11 whilst properties in the other postal districts are in the non-Central region sub-basket.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
