ELTA sales marks Clementi’s enduring appeal amongst homebuyers

Two-thirds of its 501 units were already sold.

ELTA’s launch weekend saw robust demand, with nearly two-thirds of its 501 units snapped up, underscoring Clementi’s enduring appeal among homebuyers and investors.

“There are limited land parcels for housing projects in Clementi. ELTA is the last parcel of land for condo development along Clementi Ave 1. Buyers recognised the limited supply and were eager to buy a unit in ELTA for potential capital appreciation,” Mark Yip, CEO of Huttons Asia said.

Amongst the units sold at ELTA, over 60% of the units are 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom types and they were transacted at prices below $2.2mn. The 3-bedders were also popular, with 86 units sold at prices ranging from around $2.2m to $2.8m.

Ismail Gafoor, CEO of PropNex, said the healthy sales take-up of ELTA aligns with their expectations and mirrors the growing demand pattern observed in recent launches in November 2024 and January this year.

“The strong take-up rates reaffirm the resilient demand in the private residential market and reflect the recovery in buyer confidence, following the positive momentum seen in recent months. The success of the two project launches can also be attributed to the pent-up demand for housing in their respective sub-markets,” Gafoor said.

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
