
Singtel unit invests $130m for AI advancement

NCS, a subsidiary of Singtel Group and a technology services firm, announced a $130m investment over the next three years to elevate AI transformation across Asia Pacific.
NCS launched Sunshine.AI, a suite of AI tools tailored for developers, IT operations teams, and corporate users.
Its features include the Sunshine.Coder, an AI coding assistant; the Sunshine.Operations, designed to automate incident triage, system log analysis, and operational task flows; and the Sunshine.Productivity, a suite of tools that enhance day-to-day tasks such as summarisation and content retrieval.
NCS announced six strategic partnerships with leading global technology players, including AWS, Databricks, Dell Technologies, Google Cloud, NVIDIA, and Sunline.
NCS also signed a five-year agreement with the Home Team Science and Technology Agency to support the strengthening of Singapore’s homeland security.
