The Straits Times Index (STI) closed at 5,002.720, down 0.24% on Wednesday, 22 April, at 5:21 p.m.

DFI Retail was the most active stock, followed by Jardine Matheson (+1.67%), and Capitaland Investment Limited (+1.05%).

Singapore Telecommunications Limited and ST Engineering were at the foot.
