COE premiums for small cars rose 10.34% in November bid

Premium rates for large cars increased by $1,000 to $32,302.

Certificate of entitlement (COE) premiums for small cars up jumped 10.34% to $28,199 in the November bidding exercise, an announcement revealed.

For large cars which are above 1,600 cc, premium rates increased by $1,000 to $32,302.

Open COE premiums meanwhile dipped 2.74% to $32,000 whilst motorcycle premiums slipped from $3,951 to $2,509.

Meanwhile, COE premiums for goods vehicles and buses stood still at $29,501.

The Land Transport Authority earlier announced that they will raise the quota for bidding exercises by 8.9% to 10,046 for November to January.  

In the first November bid, a total of 6,313 bids were received.
