Floral startup invests $850,000 for EV delivery fleet

This will reduce their carbon footprint and cater to eco-conscious customers.

Floristique, a 2017-founded startup, switched its delivery fleet to electric vehicles in a bid to cut carbon emissions and enhance customer satisfaction.

Before, the company used diesel vans, which consumed about 5,000 litres of diesel monthly.

“The transition to electric vans signifies a remarkable reduction in carbon emissions, aligning with both environmental objectives and consumer expectations,” read the statement.

To boost this initiative, Floristique also collaborated with SP Group, a pioneer in electric vehicle charging solutions and infrastructure in Singapore.

This partnership not only leverages SP Group's extensive charging network but also helps in the Singapore agenda for increasing vehicle electrification.

"I believed that we could, and should be doing more as a business. It was a good investment that has only provided benefits — both environmentally and as an added bonus of being more cost-effective," said Wendy Han, founder of Floristique.
