China Merchants Holdings appoints Luo Hui Lai as Chairman

Mr. Luo has been the Managing Director China Merchants Huajian Highway Investment since Mar 2012.

The Board of China Merchants Holdings announced the appointment of Luo Hui Lai as Chairman. Mr Luo was nominated by China Merchants Huajian Highway Investment Co., Ltd, the holding company of the Company. Upon the recommendation of the Nominating Committee which had reviewed his qualification and experience, the Board of Directors approved his appointment. 

Mr. Luo is the Managing Director of China Merchants Huajian Highway Investment Co., Ltd from Mar 2012 to present. Prior to this he was Deputy General Manager of China Merchants Holdings (International) Company Limited from Jan 2007 to Feb 2012 and Chairman cum CEO of China Merchants International Container Terminal Co., Ltd., Ningbo Daxie from Jun 2003 to Dec 2006, according to a China Merchants Holdings report.
