Freight Links Express Holdings names Chan Choong Poh Charles as Chief Operating Officer

He will take over the optimisation of operational effectiveness of the business units and develop new business areas.

The Board of Freight Links Express Holdings announced the appointment of Chan Choong Poh Charles as Chief Operating Officer effective 2 July 2012. Mr Chan has more than 30 years of experience in the logistics and supply chain related industries. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Distribution Technology and Management from Cranfield University, UK.

Mr Chan, 55, will be responsible for the optimisation of operational effectiveness of the business units and develop new business areas, according to a Freight Links Express Holdings report.

Prior to the appointment, he was Senior Vice President of ST-Electronics from 2009 to 2011, Director Corporate Development of Toll Asia from 2007 to 2008 and Chief Operating Officer of Sembcorp Logistics from 2003 to 2006.
