50% of finance employees expect pay rise over the next 6 months: survey

Here's how much they're anticipating.

According to eFinancialCareers, Singapore finance professionals expect their basic salaries to increase again in 2014.

Half the respondents (50%) indicated that they expect their base salary to increase in the next six months, of which the vast majority (76%) anticipate a pay rise of up to 10%.

George McFerran, Managing Director APAC at eFinancialCareers said: “The expectations of financial services professionals reflect a market that grew in confidence following good 1st half industry results. However bonus pay-outs still depend somewhat on a positive close to the year.
