SIA Engineering signs agreement with Xiamen Iport to explore investment in Arport AME

The agreement seeks to explore expanding Arport AME's current services in Fujian, China.

SIA Engineering Company Limited (SIAEC) signed a Framework Agreement with Xiamen Iport Group (IPORT Group) to explore its potential investment in Arport Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering (Fujian) (Arport AME), a subsidiary of IPORT Group.

The agreement will assess the possibility of expanding Arport AME's current services in Fujian, China.

Currently focused on line maintenance and ground services, the company plans to add base maintenance and other capabilities in the future.

The development follows an earlier Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in which both companies expressed a shared interest in exploring Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) opportunities in Fujian.
