SIA extends PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite status for an additional year
Covered are those that are set to expire between March 2022 and February 2023.
PPS Club and Krisflyer Elite status holders see an extension for another year, as announced by Singapore Airlines.
All holders with statuses that are set to expire between March 2022 and February will see an automatic extension for another year. Elite miles earned by KrisFlyer elite members in the year previous to the latest expansion will also be credited back their miles.
A similar initiative was also put into place in 2020 as a way to support members who have been unable to fly due to the pandemic.
Krisflyer miles that are set to expire in 2022 will also see a six-month extension at the end of each month. The same will also apply to rewards earned from PPS rewards and KrisFlyer Milestone Rewards, with these being extended to 31 December 2022.
“We are very grateful to our PPS Club and KrisFlyer members for their continued loyalty. Extending the membership statuses, as well as continual enhancement of the KrisFlyer programme, provides our members with more recognition and programme benefits. It also offers further opportunities to earn and redeem their miles with both Singapore Airlines and Scoot. KrisFlyer will continue to find ways to bolster its position as a leading lifestyle-centric rewards programme, offering a myriad of ground and in-flight benefits for all members,” said JoAnn Tan, Senior VP, Marketing Planning, Singapore Airlines.
Starting February 2022, KrisFlyer members will also enjoy additional benefits when they fly on Scoot. 2.5 Elite miles will be earned for every Krisflyer mile earned from flying on Scoot, up from 1 Elite mile for every KrisFlyer mile.
Two new milestone rewards were also launched by SIA for those who have earned 1,000 and 2,500 Elite miles.
