SIA group passenger traffic up 4.5% in June

The group’s passenger load reached 88.7%.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group reported a 4.5% year-on-year increase in passenger traffic in June 2025, driven by strong summer travel demand and mid-year school holidays. This growth outpaced the 3.1% increase in passenger capacity.

The group’s passenger load factor rose 1.3 percentage points to 88.7%. SIA recorded a load factor of 87.7%, whilst Scoot reached 92.2%.

Together, the airlines carried 3.5 million passengers—up 8.2% from the same month last year.

Cargo demand rose slightly, up 0.4% year-on-year, but lagged behind the 3.3% increase in cargo capacity. The cargo load factor fell 1.6 percentage points to 56.4%.

In June, Scoot launched a new three-times-weekly service to Vienna, Austria.

By month-end, the group’s passenger network covered 129 destinations in 37 countries and territories. SIA served 78 destinations and Scoot 73.

The cargo network reached 133 destinations in 38 countries and territories.
