SIA named official airline partner for 28th SEA Games

It will offer special fares for game officials.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has been named as the official airline partner of the 28th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, which will be held in Singapore from 5 to 16 June 2015.

SIA will sponsor complimentary Economy Class tickets to Singapore as prizes for promotional activities around the region.

SIA will sponsor the prizes for NILA’s Quest, a web-based game launched by SINGSOC to engage the regional community. The grand prize will see a winning pair from each country fly to Singapore to enjoy the SEA Games.

In addition to its sponsorship, SIA will offer special fares for officials who are travelling to Singapore for the Games as well as publicity through its proprietary media channels.

SIA will also sponsor handheld fans which are included in the fun packs that will be distributed during the preview, opening and closing ceremonies, as well as SEA Games-themed Airbus A380 aircraft models.

Singapore Airlines cabin crew will also be participating in the opening and closing ceremonies.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
