Singapore Airlines inks customer wellness partnership with Golden Door

Flights between Singapore and the United States will be the primary focus.

Singapore Airlines will be entering a partnership with Golden Door focused on customer wellness, according to a press release by the company.

Experts from Golden Door that include chefs, nutritionists, and personal trainers have worked together to develop a range of menus, exercise and well-being options for customers.

These will be available on flights between Singapore and the United State, with the first menus and wellness content being available on flight SQ37. This is a direct service from Los Angeles to Singapore in January 2022. From there, the program will be extended to other non-stop services, namely, San Francisco, New York and Seattle to Singapore.

In particular, flights from Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco have also been designated as Vaccinated Travel Lane flights, allowing for a quarantine-free entry.

“Our long-standing commitment to wellness has led us to work with Golden Door’s highly specialised expertise, and create new options for health-oriented dining, exercise, and strategies for better sleep on long flights. Now, more than ever, our customers are focused on maximising wellness in every aspect of their lives. This partnership is instrumental in finding practical, effective ways to extend the principles and practice of well-being to air travel,” said Yeoh Phee Teik, Senior Vice President Customer Experience, Singapore Airlines.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
