ST Eng'g rolls out predictive maintenance for LOT Polish's 787 fleet
A five-year pact uses data-driven planning to support 15 Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
ST Engineering’s Commercial Aerospace unit will introduce a refurbishment programme that incorporates predictive maintenance methodologies to LOT Polish Airlines’ 15 Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
The group has secured a five-year nacelle maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) agreement to support the airline’s fleet of 15 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, according to a bourse filing.
Under the agreement, the programme will shift the airline’s nacelle lifecycle management from a reactive maintenance model to a data-driven planning framework.
The programme will use soft time-based scheduling and predictive reliability modelling to reduce unscheduled removals, improve turnaround performance, and optimise the total cost of ownership for the airline’s 787 operations.
The agreement also extends ST Engineering’s existing nacelle MRO services for LOT Polish Airlines’ fleet.
