STB, IndiGo sign MoU to boost Indian travel to Singapore

This is STB’s first partnership with an Indian airline.

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and IndiGo have signed a year-long memorandum of understanding (MoU) to drive Indian travel to Singapore.

This is STB’s first partnership with an Indian airline, and IndiGo’s first with a national tourism board.

India remains one of Singapore’s top three tourism source markets. In the first half of 2025, more than 500,000 Indian travellers visited Singapore.

Strong air connectivity plays a key role, with over 270 weekly flights linking Singapore to 15 Indian cities via Changi Airport.

IndiGo operates flights from nine Indian cities to Singapore and will launch its business-class product, IndiGoStretch, on Singapore-Delhi and Singapore-Mumbai routes starting 9 August 2025—coinciding with Singapore’s National Day and the 60th anniversary of India-Singapore diplomatic ties.

The MoU builds on the earlier "Untold Singapore" campaign and includes a year-long push to highlight Singapore’s top attractions and lesser-known spots.

The joint campaign will feature travel deals, co-branded content, influencer marketing, and trade outreach through roadshows, training, and familiarisation trips.

STB and IndiGo will also share data and insights to launch targeted marketing campaigns tailored to Indian travellers.
