ST Engineering CEO on medical leave after mild stroke

He’ll be on leave for about four weeks.

ST Engineering today announced that its P&CEO Tan Pheng Hock is on medical leave of absence after he had a mild stroke and was admitted to the hospital for observation.

The duration of his medical leave could be about four weeks pending doctors' review of his condition and recommendations, ST Engineering said.

In the interim, his executive duties and responsibilities are being covered by Lee Fook Sun, Deputy CEO who will oversee the business functions, and Vincent Chong, Deputy CEO (Corporate Development) who will continue to oversee corporate functions.
