Bostik (Adhesive Solutions by Arkema) recognised at the SBR International Business Awards 2022

The leading speciality materials player creates a greener environment with its comprehensive, innovative, and sustainable building solution package.

Designers of innovative adhesive solutions and partners to the most complex industrial challenges, Arkema’s largest acquisition Bostik is currently the world’s number three in industrial adhesives.

With sustainability at the core, Bostik offers smart adhesive solutions for professional builders and architects that are globally available and part of contributing to and achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

To meet environmental requirements, compliances, and technical performances for construction projects’ needs, they used Bostik SEAL’N’FLEX (FLEX-IQ®), the latest range of high-quality sealants that Bostik uses its new breakthrough technology – FLEX-IQ® – namely in the P590 SEAL’N’FLEX ONE PLUS, P795 SEAL’N’FLEX PREMIUM and H725 SEAL’N’FLEX FAÇADE products.

A time-saving solution combined with flexibility, reliability, and durability, Bostik FLEX-IQ® sealants can offer perfect adhesion without the use of a primer and can be applied to most the common buildings both porous and non-porous substrates. Once applied and finished, the sealants are highly elastic and thus ensure a durable long-lasting functional life expectance.

In response to the evolving demands and dynamic challenges of the construction environment, Bostik FLEXIQ® sealants serve as a time saving, cost-effective and sustainable solution to build greener landscapes that can also reduce carbon footprint and waste, as well as lower VOC emissions. To cater to different construction projects’ specifications and builders’ requirements, Bostik FLEX-IQ® sealants are adaptable and flexible and they can be used even in stringent conditions.

With this, Bostik (Adhesive Solutions by Arkema) won in the Chemicals category at the SBR International Business Awards. The prestigious program lauds foreign companies for their outstanding projects in Singapore.

Sealants can achieve the highest technical and mechanical performances that are expected in the construction sector while delivering a perfect aesthetic appearance. Bostik FLEX-IQ® sealants are tested and certified by many globally recognized accreditation bodies such as CE, ASTM C920, EN15651 (Part 1 & 4) and French A Plus.

Notably, Bostik FLEX-IQ® sealants have also met the stringent requirements to be certified as ‘label free’ products (an average low emission of volatile organic compounds (VOC) at 2.34g/l). The sealants obtained international environmental certifications such as the GEV Emicode EC1/ EC1 Plus and Singapore Green Label that is administered by the Singapore Environment Council (SEC).

Bostik FLEX-IQ® sealants have also been recognized by customers across the world and have been part of several key construction projections like Microsoft by Katerra in Hyderabad, India, Mandalika International Street Circuit by PT PP (Persero) in Lombok, Indonesia, and Bicol International Airport by Hardwarebrands Distributor (Department of Transportation and EM Cuerpo Contractor) in Bicol, Philippines. The company also supplied 25,000 units of Bostik P795 SEAL'N'FLEX PREMIUM (FLEX-IQ) for new airport work of PQC joint sealing by Indian Air Force, India.

Innovation and the protection of human health and the environment lie at the heart of Bostik’s development as the company continues to focus on renewable energies, to manufacture products that are less harmful and more environmentally sound.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
