NielsenIQ (Singapore) Pte Ltd wins at Singapore Business Review Management Excellence Awards 2025

The company’s SG60 community programme strengthened inclusion, accessibility, and support for diverse groups.

NielsenIQ (Singapore) Pte Ltd won Diversity & Inclusion Initiative of the Year - Consulting in the Singapore Business Review Management Excellence Awards 2025. This recognition celebrates the success of NielsenIQ’s SG60 community programme, which delivered 60 meaningful acts of kindness to support local groups and individuals in need, reinforcing the commitment to inclusion and social impact.

The company marked SG60 with activities centred on community engagement, sustainability, and inclusion. These ranged from Employee Resource Group events to its People and Planet Day, where associates volunteered with organisations such as K9 Assistance, the National Kidney Foundation, the Food Bank, FILOS, the National Library Board, Willing Hearts, and SparkleCare. The team also supported wellbeing programmes and outreach efforts with universities and underserved schools.

Louise Hawley, NielsenIQ Managing Director of Southeast Asia Modern Trade commented, “As part of our efforts to improve accessibility, we partnered with SG Enable to enhance our office environment by installing sliding doors at the main entrance rather than traditional push-pull doors. Furthermore, we have a meeting in a room named Enabling Village to pay tribute to Singapore’s inclusive community space.” Hawley added, “The office also includes a nursing room and flexible work arrangements that support employees with caregiving and other personal responsibilities.”

The company continued to strengthen its internal policies by extending parental leave benefits to all associates, regardless of their child’s nationality. Its workplace reflects strong diversity, with employees representing 18 nationalities and a local leadership team comprising 57% women.

The Singapore Business Review Management Excellence Awards honours visionary executives, innovators, and high-performing teams, as well as initiatives that champion diversity, inclusion, employee engagement, and workplace well-being.

NielsenIQ (NIQ) is the world’s leading consumer intelligence company, delivering the most complete understanding of consumer buying behaviour and revealing new pathways to growth. NIQ combined with GfK in 2023, bringing together the two industry leaders with unparalleled global reach.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
