Verticurl wins Prestigious SBR National Business Awards for Marketing Technology

Verticurl's xTend provides innovative solutions to solve local business challenges.

The Singapore Business Review is proud to announce that Verticurl, a Singapore-based global enterprise and now a WPP Company, won the SBR National Business Awards for Marketing Technology.

Verticurl, a division of Ogilvy, was established in 2006 with the mission to be the world's leading marketing technology services agency for multinational organisations. Founded in Singapore, the home-grown marketing technology agency enables clients to assess, deploy and integrate MarTech platforms, activate customer experience technologies, implement lead management processes that accelerate revenue conversion, and leverage marketing technology to achieve operational excellence.

As an innovative marketing technology agency, Verticurl leveraged their local market knowledge and technology capabilities to build xTend, an omni-channel connector that helps local and global brands connect and engage customers across their preferred messaging channels.

The Verticurl team observed a problem while helping global clients build their marketing strategy and implement and operate their marketing automation platforms (MAP) and campaigns. In various regions, local messaging channels dominated how friends, families and businesses engaged one another. The challenge was how to engage with customers, who expect brands to be active across mobile channels, while leveraging existing investments in automation platforms and data.

xTend is Verticurl’s solution to address this challenge and connects to leading MAPs such as Adobe Campaign, Marketo and Eloqua and extends their delivery capabilities to popular messaging apps such as WeChat, LINE and Whatsapp. The solution helps brands throughout the marketing funnel and extends their digital marketing capabilities to drive greater customer awareness, conversion and loyalty in various markets, such as China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Korea, Japan, and others in the Asia Pacific region.

“This was an idea conceived during a client meeting in Taipei, developed in Singapore, and has now been adopted by many of the world’s leading B2B brands to extend their MarTech platform’s audience reach, experience management capabilities and time to value. I am extremely grateful to our clients who push us to innovate, our MarTech partners, my team members who chose to be bold and deliver on these challenges daily, and WPP & Ogilvy leadership for supporting our team by providing encouragement and opportunities across our network,” Verticurl CEO Ab Gaur said.

To date, over 50% of Verticurl’s existing clients use xTend to communicate with their customers. Brands with xTend have increased their customer acquisition and developed stronger engagement with loyalty customers.
