25 Purvis Street shophouse on sale via EOI for $19.2m

The indicative price translates to $2,745 per square foot per plot ratio.

The historic 25 Purvis Street shophouse has been offered for sale via an Expression of Interest (EOI) exercise closing on 22 February, Thursday, at 3 p.m.

Colliers, the property’s marketing agent, said the 999-year leasehold property is priced at an indicative $19.2m or $2,745 per square foot per plot ratio.

The shophouse is originally home to the iconic Yet Con Hainanese restaurant for nearly 80 years.

The pre-war shophouse has a site area of 154.7 sq.m. (1,665 sq.ft.) and a built-up area of around 340.4 sq.m. (3,664 sq.ft.).

“The property also offers potential for intensification and modernisation, subject to relevant approvals, including the possibility of a rear extension to increase the leasable area to 649.74 sq.m. (6,993 sq.ft.)," Colliers said.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
