Ascott and SG Enable partner to enhance disability inclusion in hospitality

The initiative will provide workforce training and enhance inclusive spaces.

CapitaLand Investment (CLI) unit, Ascott, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SG Enable to enhance disability inclusion and establish new accessibility benchmarks in hospitality.

Under the MOU, the initiative will focus on five pillars: Inclusive Spaces, Inclusive Programmes, Inclusive Digital Interfaces, Inclusive Hiring, and Inclusive Training.

The "first of its scale” initiative aims to offer inclusive stay experiences through design and programming at Ascott’s properties, promoting workforce diversity and enhancing capability-building across the hospitality sector.

Ascott and SG Enable will also collaborate to create and provide tailored disability inclusion resources and training for the hospitality industry at the Ascott Centre for Excellence (ACE), aiming to uplift and upskill the broader industry.

In addition, Ascott will use the joint initiatives to develop a comprehensive global playbook in 2025 to guide disability inclusion efforts across its properties worldwide.
