CapitaLand Ascendas REIT completes acquisition of 9 Tai Seng Drive

$275.5m used from private placement.

CapitaLand Ascendas REIT Management Limited has completed the acquisition of the data centre at 9 Tai Seng Drive.

Following the launch of the private placement and subsequent announcements on 29 May, 3 June, 6 June, 31 July, and 6 August 2025, the REIT confirmed that approximately $275.5m, representing 55.1% of the gross proceeds of about $500m from the private placement, was utilised to partially finance the acquisition of 100% ownership of the 9 Tai Seng Drive property.

The manager also reallocated $0.8m of unspent fees and expenses from the placement to further finance the purchase.

With this transaction, the gross proceeds from the private placement have now been fully utilised.
