Chart of the Day: Here are the priciest strata office deals in 2019

The most expensive deal is a 29,049 sqft building sold for $2,730 psf.

This chart from Knight Frank reveals that the sale of KH Kea Building recorded the priciest deal amongst strata office deals in 2019, for $79.3m.

The nine-storey, 29,049 sqft building was sold to property conglomerate UOL Group from K.H. KEA Properties for a unit price of $2,730 psf.

This transaction was followed by deals at Southpoint for $78.4m and The Octagon for $45.5m. Rounding out the top five deals are Samsung Hub and The Central at $44.2m and $42.7m, respectively.

Overall, the total value of strata-titled office units sold in 2019 leapt 30.4% YoY to $1.2b. Despite a decline in caveats for these properties, the average price transacted per square foot rose 8.8% as more buyers preferred offices in prime locations.
