Chart of the Day: Here's a surprising upward trend for land bid price for condo sites

According to Knight Frank, executive condominiums (ECs) segment dominates 3Q 2013 public residential investment sales as investment sales from these ECs sites amounted to half of the total residential investment value of $1.5 billion.

Five (5) GLS sites were awarded in 3Q 2013 and three (3) sites were Executive Condominiums (ECs) at Punggol Central/ Edgefield Plains, Punggol Drive/ Edgefield Plains and Yuan Ching/ Tao Ching Road respectively.

"Investment Sales for these three (3) sites amount to $741.6 million. The land bid price for ECs sites has been on an upward trend, from an average land bid price $360 per sq ft in 2013," Knight Frank said.
