Chart of the Day: Leasing volumes of factories and warehouses up 2.2%

Thanks to demand from renewals and relocations.

According to Savills, the leasing market remained buoyant with 1,513 deals sealed for factories and warehouses in Q1, 2.2% higher than in the same period last year.

Demand was dominated by renewals and relocations in search of lower rents. Monthly rents stabilised at S$2.0 per sq ft for upper-storey factory and warehouse units and S$3.0 per sq ft for high-tech units.
