Chart of the Day: Residential sector accounts for 46.2% of investment sales in Q1

The commercial sector takes the next big slice of the pie.

According to Colliers, 1Q17 investment sales more than doubled to $6.1b, with residential sector grabbing the biggest share.

Backed by a few residential bulk purchases deals, investment sales in the segment made up 46.2% of the total investment sales or $2.8b.

Meanwhile, commercial sector accounted for 44.5% with $2.5b.
