Chart of the Day: Where are the flexible workspaces in the CBD?

Operators are ramping up their presence in Orchard Road and Beach Road.

This chart from Colliers International shows that the highest concentration of flexible workspaces in the central business district (CBD) are in the area of Raffles Place/New Downtown which houses 41% of flexible workspace footprint in the CBD.

Meanwhile, the Tanjong Pagar micro-market host 29% of the flexible workspaces in the area. The City Hall (18%), Orchard Road (8%), and Beach Road (3%) also house some square footage for flexible workspaces.

“Looking ahead, we anticipate the growth rate in Orchard Road and Beach Road to be slightly higher than the rest of the CBD, as operators ramp up their presence there from a relatively lower base,” Colliers International said.
