Concorde Hotel & Shopping Centre at 100 Orchard Road on sale via public tender

Savills announced the sale of Concorde Hotel & Shopping Centre at 100 Orchard Road via public tender.

Situated on a corner island site, Concorde Hotel & Shopping Centre spans 99,623 sq ft and is zoned “Hotel” with a height control up to 10 storeys.

The property currently features a 3-storey retail podium with approximately 108,510 sq ft of strata area and a 407-room hotel from levels 4 to 9, overlooking Istana Park.

It is near transportation network such as Dhoby Ghaut MRT Interchange and Somerset MRT station, providing connectivity o the Central Business District and Marina Bay.

The property will also benefit from plans to expand Orchard Road into the Istana Park green spaces across the site, connecting Dhoby Ghaut to the upper stretch of Orchard Road.

The property has a guide price of $820m or $1,801 per plot ratio including balconies, assuming a 40% hotel, 40% residential, and 20% commercial use, and assuming the developer pays $213.1m to top up the lease to a fresh 99 years. 

The buyer may also consider submitting an alternative Outline Planning Application for a different use mix.

Foreigners are eligible to purchase. The tender will close on Wednesday, 16 October, at 3 pm.
