Hospitality REITs were the worst performers last week with 0.7% pullback

Pulled down by FEHT and ART.

Hospitality REITs were the the worst performers in the REIT sector last week, pulled down by Far East Hospitality Trust (FEHT) and Ascott Residence Trust (ART).

Data from RHB Securities show that Hospitality REITs decline 0.7% week-on-week. FEHT was the biggest loser at -1.8% WoW, along with Ascott Residence Trust with a -1.6% decline.

Meanwhile, the Industrial REITs were the top performer, registering an increase of +1.7% WoW. This was driven in part by AREIT which was up a whopping 4.4% WoW.

The other segments registered modest movements with Healthcare, Retail and Office REITs gathering 0.6%, 0.4%, -0.3% WoW respectively.

AREIT was the best performing S-REIT while IREIT Global was the worst performing down 4.4% WoW.
